Blue Loyalty Programme - General FAQs

Blue Rewards is Al-Futtaim Group’s rewards and lifestyle app. Blue incentivizes you for shopping from our brands (and partner brands) in the GCC, Egypt, Singapore, and Malaysia. We reward your shopping experience by granting you unlimited 1% cashback, free points for particular actions, thousands of offers including over 2,500 2-for-1 offers, discounts, privileges, event invites, and much more all for free.

You can download the Blue Rewards App from the Google Play store or the Apple App Store. Create an account by registering with the following details:
  • First name.
  • Last name.
  • Email address.
  • Mobile number.
  • Country of residence.
  • Nationality.
  • Date of birth.
  • Gender.
You can also register using your existing accounts from Google, Facebook, and Apple.

Apart from making savings on some of the best retail options and brands, you will also be rewarded with the following:
  1. Earn unlimited 1% cashback on your purchases.
  2. Earn points across a number of different activities including games.
  3. Buy & gift prepaid gift cards (this perk is as of yet available in Malaysia).
  4. Access Blue Rewards exclusive offers for free.
  5. Receive 1000s of partner offers across the GCC, Egypt, Singapore & Malaysia.
  6. Register for a Blue FAB Credit Card by Al-Futtaim for even more exclusivity and for easy use at checkout (this perk is available only in the UAE).

Navigate to the ‘Offers’ tab, tap on the ‘Nearby Maps’ button that hovers near the bottom of your screen, and a map that displays all the brands near your location will be displayed.

Navigate to a brand’s page on the Blue Rewards App and tap the heart icon on the top right corner to favourite that brand, or on the heart icon displayed on the offers on that page to favourite that offer. Alternatively, you can navigate to an offers dedicated page to favourite it as well. You can view your favourited brands and offers by tapping on the heart icon on the ‘Offers’ tab.

If you forgot your password, simply click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the Blue Rewards App. You will then receive a One Time Password (OTP) on the mobile number you registered to Blue with. Enter the OTP in the app and change your password instantly!

Your username is the mobile number that you registered to Blue Rewards with.

Yes, you require an internet connection to gain access to the Blue Rewards app.

You need a mobile number from the GCC, Egypt, Singapore or Malaysia to register. The mobile number used for registration should be capable of receiving a one-time password (OTP) validation code in order to complete your registration with Blue Rewards.

Absolutely. You can share your e-mail ID and password with them, and they can access your account for shared benefits.

Blue is available in English and Arabic.

Your Blue Rewards membership is not a corporate membership. Corporate B2B customers are excluded, save for specific offers that are valid for AFG employees.

If you wish to delete your account, please call Blue Rewards’ customer service line at 800 3425 2583 (UAE) or +971 4 800 34252583 (International). Blue will require you to validate your identity before proceeding with the deletion.

Blue Wallet – FAQs

Navigate to your Wallet from the app’s main menu and tap on ‘Top-up’, then select the amount you want to top-up using your preferred payment method. What’s more is you will enjoy an additional 2% bonus when you top-up your wallet.

Tap on the ‘Wallet’ tab from the app’s main menu to arrive at your wallet’s balance.

Yes. If your balance will expire soon, the expiry date will be displayed next to your balance on the ‘Wallet’ tab on the app.
  • Cashback will expire within 12 months from the date of the purchase from which the cashback was earned.
  • Gift Card (Blue Prepaid) balances will expire within 12 months of their date of purchase.
  • Refunds are to be redeemed within 12 months of the date of the item’s return.

You can only use your wallet’s balance in the country which you are registered in.

  • Download the Blue Rewards App and register using your details in order to gain access to any already earned balances to your wallet.
  • Notify the cashier at the store where you wish to spend your wallet balance that you intend to use the balance from your Blue Rewards wallet.
  • Navigate to your wallet from the app’s homepage and tap ‘Blue Pay.’
  • Allow the cashier to scan the barcode (that is now visible on your screen) during checkout.
  • Press the ‘Redeem’ button on the app to receive an OTP.
  • Share the OTP with the cashier and the amount will be deducted from your wallet balance.

  • Download the Blue Rewards App and register using your details in order to gain access to any already earned balances to your wallet.
  • At checkout, select the ‘Pay with Blue’ option.
  • Enter the mobile number registered with Blue to receive an SMS OTP for verification.
  • Enter the OTP & amount you want to spend from your Blue Wallet.
  • Complete your purchase.

The refund will be credited to your Blue Wallet.

You will be refunded in the mode of payment you used for that transaction.

Blue Cashback – FAQs

Start earning cashback as soon as you spend at any of Al-Futtaim’s participating brands (navigate to the “Which retail and partner brands can I earn cashback at?” question below for a list of those brands).
  • Spend any amount (in the relevant local currency) to earn 1% cashback (i.e. spend AED 100 and earn AED 1 cashback or the equivalent currency).
  • Cashback earned at select participating brands may take up to 72 hours to reflect in your account.
  • Cashback will be credited to your Blue Wallet.
  • Cashback is valid from 12 months from the date of the purchase in question.

  • Download the Blue Rewards App and register with your details to start earning and access any cashback you’ve already earned.
  • Proceed to the checkout at the participating brand’s store.
  • Notify the cashier that you have the Blue App.
  • Navigate to the Blue App’s homepage and tap on the barcode icon.
  • The cashier will scan the barcode to redeem your cashback.

  • Download the Blue Rewards App and register with your details to start earning and access any cashback you’ve already earned.
  • Proceed to the checkout at the participating brand’s website/app.
  • Complete the transaction using the same mobile number that you are registered on Blue with, and the cashback will automatically be updated on your Blue Wallet.
  • You will also earn 1% cashback for online purchases completed using your Blue Wallet.

Blue FAB Credit Card -FAQs

The Blue FAB Credit Card (previously known as the Al-Futtaim FAB Credit Card) is Blue’s co-brand credit card with First Abu Dhabi Bank, that seeks to provide you with a wide range of rewards from Blue Rewards, Al-Futtaim, FAB, VISA and a range of other partners.

  • 5% cashback in the form of Al-Futtaim FAB Reward points for all purchases from Al-Futtaim brands.
  • 1% cashback in the form of Al-Futtaim FAB Reward points for purchases made elsewhere.
  • 0% interest plans and 12-month instalment plans for spends over AED 500 at Al-Futtaim’s brands.
  • No annual fee.
  • Exclusive offers ranging from travel and more.
  • 5,000 free Blue Points upon linking your Blue FAB Credit Card with the Blue Rewards App.

Yes, the cashback is capped at AED 3,000 per month for the Platinum and Signature Blue FAB Credit Cards, or AED 6,000 per month for the Infinite Blue FAB Credit Card. Card types are determined by the bank’s application criteria.

You can apply for the Blue FAB Credit Card by navigating to the ‘Wallet’ tab on the Blue Rewards App and tapping ‘Learn More’ next to the Blue FAB Credit Card image. Alternatively, you can apply through the FAB mobile banking app.

The application process requires no paperwork and can be completed entirely online in about 10 minutes. After completing the application process, a virtual Blue FAB Credit Card can be acquired. The physical card can take 1-2 working days to be delivered.

  • Blue Gift Cards can be purchased online using valid Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards in United Arab Emirates dirhams (or any other recognized local currency). Credit/debit card details or information provided in connection with the purchase of Blue Gift Cards will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
  • Blue Gift Cards are non-reloadable.
  • Blue Gift Cards are non-refundable bearer instruments and cannot be exchanged for cash, gift vouchers or credit notes.
  • Blue Gift Cards can be redeemed partially over multiple transactions until they expire.
  • Blue Gift Cards can be used across participating Al-Futtaim Group brands in the country of issuance only. Cross-border redemptions are not permitted. A list of participating brands in each country is set out below.
  • Blue Gift Cards can be purchased for personal use or as gifts, and can be added to the Wallet on the Blue Rewards App.
  • Blue Gift Card balances can be transferred between Blue Rewards App members in the same country only. Cross-border transfers are not permitted.
  • The minimum and maximum loads on Blue Gift Cards vary per country.
  • Al-Futtaim accepts no responsibility for errors in the email address provided to it at the purchase of Blue Gift Cards or for the loss of, damage to, theft of or unauthorised use of Blue Gift Cards.
  • Al-Futtaim’s Blue Gift Card program will not deal with or provide any services or products to any OFAC sanctioned countries (in accordance with the laws of the UAE).
  • These Blue Gift Cards Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the UAE, and any legal action arising out of or related to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE Courts.
  • These Blue Gift Cards Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated by Al-Futtaim.
  • Blue Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from their date of issuance.
  • Blue Gift Cards can be used in the physical form or can be added to your Blue Wallet on the Blue Rewards App. You will earn an additional 2% of the Blue Gift Card’s value when added/topped up in your Blue Wallet, up to a maximum of AED 500 per year per Blue Wallet (UAE).
  • The additional 2% bonus is applicable only to gifting and topping up at a retail level. Cards issued through corporate orders or via 3rd party distributors are excluded.
  • In order to keep track of your balance and purchase(s), add your Blue Gift Card to the Wallet on your app.
  • The Blue Gift Card may not be replaced if damaged, expired, lost, or stolen and the lost funds may not be refunded.
  • The Blue Gift Card is not for use in ATM’s.

Blue Gift Cards can be purchased through the app or from participating retail stores.

Blue Points-FAQs

Blue Points can be earned in several ways. Some of them include:

  • Signing up to Blue Rewards for the first time.
  • Providing further details about yourself on the app.
  • Playing Blue Games.
  • Linking your Blue FAB Credit Card to your Blue Rewards account.
  • Inviting your friends to join the Blue Rewards App.
  • Receiving communications from Blue Rewards that alert you when there are free points up for grabs.
  • Completing surveys from Blue Rewards and its partners.

* Ways of earning Blue Points may vary from season to season.

Once you’ve accumulated 5,000 Blue Points, your wallet will be topped up with the local currency’s equivalent of that amount.

100 points is valued at AED 1 or the equivalent.

Blue Points are valid for 12 months.

At the time being, Blue Points cannot be transferred.

Yes, once you’ve accumulated 5,000 Blue Points, they will automatically be converted to your local currency’s worth and can be spent at all participating Al-Futtaim brands which vary from country to country.

The Blue Points you collect can be converted to exciting vouchers or can be used on offers on the app.

Cashback is earned by transacting with participating brands.

Blue Exclusive Offers – FAQs

The nature of offers provided by each brand differs based on seasonality. While some brands may offer long-lasting and exclusive deals, others may only offer short-term promotions.

Blue’s exclusive offers vary in duration. You can view each offer’s duration on that individual offer’s page.

Depending on the offer’s terms and conditions, you can use each offer either once or an unlimited number of times, but only one offer can be applied per transaction.

Your exclusive Blue brand offers are valid in participating Al-Futtaim Retail Group brand locations across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore.

*These offers are currently available at offline stores only and are not available for use online.

2 for 1 Offers – FAQs

2-for-1 offers are easy to use. Please refer to ‘Rules of Use’ for more information.

  1. When you are about to make a purchase or order using a non-Al-Futtaim offer, notify the merchant that you intend to use the Blue Rewards App.
  2. Navigate to the offer you wish to use within the app.
  3. Ask the merchant to enter their PIN into the screen displayed on the app after which you will arrive at a success screen.

Each merchant provides around three separate offers. Each offer can only be used in one location. When you redeem one offer, it will be displayed as redeemed across all locations. After all three offers have been redeemed, all locations and all offers will be locked.

Yes, you’ll find terms and conditions on each offer on the Blue Rewards App. You can easily access the Rules of Use from each offer in your app and via the profile settings.

You can cancel the redemption at any point until the cashier successfully enters their merchant PIN. However, if the cashier has entered their merchant PIN and the redemption is complete, it cannot be reversed. We are unable to reinstate offers within the Blue App.

After the standard redemption steps, the spa will provide you with a certificate/voucher for you to present the next time you visit the branch for a free spa.

The certificate/voucher will contain the exact details of your next complimentary treatment or service. You may use the certificate/voucher for:

  • Another complimentary treatment for yourself during your current visit or to extend your treatment.
  • A complimentary treatment for a family member or friend to use during your visit.
  • A complimentary treatment or service at a later date but before the expiration date of your voucher.

*These offers fall into the following categories: Spas, Medical & Wellness, Dental Clinics, Beauty, Hair & Nails, Gents Grooming, and Health & Fitness.

Your offers have very few redemption restrictions and are valid throughout the year, excluding some key public holidays. See ‘Rules of Use’ for more information on the days your offers will not be valid.

Each merchant has around three separate offers displayed as buy-one-get-one-free offers. Each offer can only be used in one location. When you redeem one offer, it will be displayed as redeemed across all locations. After all three offers have been redeemed, all locations and all offers will be locked.

You can use up to 4 offers at once, with 1 offer per 2 people and a maximum of 4 offers for 8 guests.

Blue X Emcan - FAQs

If you link your Blue Rewards account with your EmCan account you can enjoy rewards on both sides. Once linked, you will earn 1 Blue point for every AED 10 spent on a wide range of products and services at Emarat petrol stations, including fuel purchases, on top of your EmCan points. Similarly, you will earn 1 EmCan point for every AED 4 spent at participating Al Futtaim Group brands, on top of your cashback.

To be able to link your accounts, you must have both Blue Rewards and EmCan app downloaded on your mobile phone and follow the below steps:

In Blue Rewards

  • Go to your Profile section
  • Select "Link EmCan Account"
  • Tap "Link Account"
  • Your Blue Rewards phone number will be auto populated
  • Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
  • Tap link
  • You’re set to earn double in both the programs

If you don’t have an EmCan account, you will be prompted a download page to install and sign up to the EmCan.

In EmCan

  • Go to your Profile Settings
  • Tab “Link with Blue Rewards”
  • Your EmCan phone number will be auto populated
  • Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
  • Tap "Continue”
  • You’re set to earn in both the programs

If you don’t have a Blue Rewards account, you will be prompted a download page to install and sign up to the Blue Rewards app.

To link your accounts, you'll need to use the same mobile phone number for both Blue Rewards and EmCan accounts.

You'll need to be a member of both Blue Rewards and EmCan programs and link your accounts through either program to unlock the ability to earn double rewards.

Once your accounts are linked, you'll start earning rewards for your purchases. You won't be able to retroactively earn double rewards for purchases made before linking.

Yes, you can delink your accounts at any time through your Profile Section on the Blue app or through your Profile Settings section through the EmCan app.

Yes, membership in both programs is required to unlock the double rewards benefit. You'll need to be registered with the same mobile phone number in both EmCan and Blue Rewards to link and qualify for double rewards.

You will earn 1 Blue point for every AED 10 spent on a wide range of products and services at Emarat petrol stations, including fuel purchases, on top of your regular EmCan points. Similarly, you will earn 1 EmCan point for every AED 4 spent at participating Al Futtaim Group brands, on top of your usual Blue Rewards cashback.

To view the Blue points on the Blue Rewards app, that you have earned at participating Emarat Petrol Stationss, please follow the steps below:

  • Open Blue app
  • On the bottom navigator, click on the “My Blue”
  • Scroll up “My Blue History”
  • Select the desired transaction to view details

To view the EmCan Points on the EmCan app, that you have earned at participating Al Futtaim Group Brands please follow the steps below:

  • Open EmCan app
  • Go to your “Tier Card” on the homepage
  • Select “Transactions”
  • Select the desired transaction to view details

Rewards for eligible purchases are credited instantly to your respective accounts.

Orient Travel Insurance - FAQs

Scroll down to the Services section on the app’s home page and tap the Orient Travel Insurance image. Complete the form with your details and your policy will instantly be issued.

The number of Blue Points that you'll receive depends on the value of your policy. You'll see the number of points awarded on the confirmation screen upon making the purchase.

You can track the points you’ve earned from travel insurance purchases by navigating to the ‘My Blue History’ section found under the ‘My Blue’ tab.

No worries! Orient Insurance has already sent a copy of your policy to your email address when you made the purchase.

No, you will need to purchase a separate travel insurance policy for each trip. Simply go through the process again in the "Services" section for each trip you want to insure.

Orient Travel Insurance offers coverage for a wide range of international destinations. For specific details on coverage, please review the policy information during the purchase process.

Your policy is instantly issued after you complete the purchase on the app. You will receive a confirmation email from Orient Insurance containing your policy details, which indicates that your policy is active.

For cancellations or modifications to your travel insurance policy, please contact Orient Insurance directly. Their contact information will be provided in the policy documentation sent to your email.

If you need to update your personal details after purchasing the policy, please get in touch with Orient Insurance’s customer support. Their contact information will be included on their onboarding email along with your policy.

If you don't receive your policy within a few minutes after completing the purchase, please check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, contact Orient Insurance's customer support for assistance.

M&S Café Digital Stamp Card - FAQs

There are two ways to activate the digital stamp card:
  1. Visit the Marks & Spencer website and activate the feature.
  2. Navigate to the "My Blue" tab on the Blue Rewards App and tap the digital stamp feature under "Ways to Earn" to activate the feature.

The promotion is valid for hot and cold coffees, tea, and hot chocolate at Marks & Spencer cafes.

You will automatically earn a stamp for every eligible drink purchase when you scan your Blue ID at Marks & Spencer cafes. Collect 9 stamps to receive a voucher for a free drink.

You can track your stamp card progress in two places:
  • The Marks & Spencer website.
  • The ‘Ways to Earn’ section under the ‘My Blue’ tab on the Blue Rewards App.

After earning 9 stamps, a voucher for a free drink will be available in your Blue Rewards App. You can access your voucher from:
  1. The Marks & Spencer brand website.
  2. The ‘My Blue’ tab’s ‘Ways to Earn’ section on the Blue Rewards App.
  3. The ‘Offers’ tab’s ‘Exclusive Offers’ section on the Blue Rewards App.
Present the voucher at the Marks & Spencer Cafe to redeem your free drink.

The free drink voucher is valid for 1 month from the date it is issued.

After redeeming your free drink voucher, you will be prompted to reset the stamp card. If you choose not to reset it immediately, you can go back to the Marks & Spencer website or the Blue Rewards App to activate it again when you are ready.

You can activate the stamp card again after redeeming your free drink. You will have the option to reset the stamp card immediately, or you can go back to the Marks & Spencer brand page or "Ways to Earn" to activate it at any time.

You can use your free drink voucher at any participating Marks & Spencer Cafe.
